Lost on tour epic
In the beginning there was the Hotel, crawling with cockroaches, rats and bikies so mean they’d shank you without a second thought. The Lost Boys saw through all that, and knew immendiately Lost on Tour had found its home. With the intensity of men on a mission from God, we proceeded to truck, train and bus everything and everyone required to deliver one of the most out of control parties of the year.

Within minutes of arriving at Platform 1 everyone knew it was going to be a special day. Those unaware of what was happening could only stop and stare, trying to process what they were seeing: an army of 600 leathered up rockers, punks and groupies in all their safety pinned glory! Who are these people? What are they doing? Why are they dressed up? Watching their reactions was priceless and helped build the solidarity of those involved – we’re getting Lost, if you’re not with us, move out of our way!

Lined up and with tension mounting, the clock strikes 12noon. From somewhere buried in the line, the music starts and one by one our flash mob of dancers emerge to progressively whip the crowd into a frenzy. As excitement builds, Bollo is driven onto the platform with a bevy of Lost beauties. After a quick jam out, Bollo whips open the bollards and the crowd rushes onboard the train.

Lost DJ’s Chux and Jason Barry get the party started on board dropping tune after tune and getting the crowd amped for the day ahead. By the time the train pulled into Austinmer station everyone was in full party mode. After a quick load up on Red Bull, it was onto the buses and onwards to venue.

The Hotel was waiting in all its dilapidated splendour, perched atop a headland overlooking beaches, ready to be overrun by 600 rock ’n’ rollers eager for a drink and a dance. First up were Piracy DJs – Jake and Elwood – who delivered yet another blinding set, filling the dance floor and easing the crowd into a massive air guitar jam out session. Outside the Jager bus had opened and was dispensing Jager Redbulls faster than any Piracy bassline. By the time Pow!! and Jimmy 2 Sox took the stage the party was in full swing, they didn’t let up and for the next two hours the boys took the dancefloor to the knife’s edge with an unholy symphony of mixes and mash ups.

Next were the eagerly anticipated headliners, Art Vs Science. These boys knew what to do, lifting the crowd to impossible highs by dropping a headbanging mix of their best known tracks, as well as flipping the script to smash out some classic 80’s rock covers. It was impossible to fight the urge to do double fist pumps at every chorus and the crowd ate it up. A defining hour in Lost’s history.

Not to be outdone, Hoops delivered an all class hell on high-heels set. They started hard and twisted, and it only got better. The girls dropped killer tracks, taking it back to a time when music used to be alluringly dangerous and fulfilling the crowds need to be destroying it on the dancefloor. The final DJ mash-up by our regular Lost DJ heavyweights ensured the crowd stayed cranked to the very end.

And then it was over and like a pack of mad dogs we abandoned the hotel, leaving for the train station and the final chapter of the day – the return trip home.

The trip back to Sydney was always going to be jaw dropping in its immensitude and it didn’t fail to deliver as Simo, Jimmy 2 Sox and Pow!! took it to another level. The crowd responded by rushing to the DJ carriage and packed in anyway they could: shoulder to shoulder, stowed in luggage racks, ontop of seats and each other! It soon became clear that the only way to traverse the chaos was crowd surfing, keeping it rock to the very end.

Some of the highlights of the day as we saw it:

Moments before the return Lost Train arrived at Austinmer, a regular scheduled train arrived bound for Sydney, and a confused crowd boarded. Imagine the horror of the regular passengers when 300 outta control rockers jumped on board! Luckily we pullied them off in time.

Slut baby’s first Lost party. We don’t really understand it but we love Slut Baby so check out the photos on FB. Hopefully she'll become a regular fixture.

Lady Gaga’s appearance was over the top, 100% original and inspired – we loved it. Her legendary effort in the outfit stakes was so believable that she kissed 3 straight boys who had no idea about her “Disco Stick.” Or at least that’s their story! We love you Gaga.

Daft Punk inspired Lost helmets - unreal effort again guys. Check the photos online because these two continually push the boundary. And if you still haven’t worked out our red friends…chilli peppers of course!

UnseenTV have pulled together a special tribute to the Lost party that went off the rails - check it out http://us.unseentv.tv/video/lost-train-rails

Finally The Lost Boys would like to thank everyone that came on Saturday. It would never have been possible were it not for such a respectful, friendly and relaxed crowd. Thank you for making the day what it was. We look forward to doing it all over again soon.

Lost on Tour - Saturday May 29th 2010
The question you gotta ask yourself is how badly do you wanna be on the greatest rock ‘n roll tour of all time?

We're talking about celebrating everything that’s indulgent about being a mega band …on Tour! We’re talking screaming fans, hardened roadies and devoted groupies. We're talking stage diving, torn knickers, tight leathers and tighter vests. We’re talking about a private train, a brand new venue, thumping speaker stacks, AAA passes and back stage debauchery. We’re talking about LOST ON TOUR!

After an exhausting summer on the road touring, The Lost Boys are back and on Saturday May 29th are taking 600 RocknRollas and their demolition crew of a live show off the rails for a “Lost on Tour” train party. It's what Jacko would've wanted, what Back in Black started and what we’re gonna finish! The Lost train will be departing Central at midday and heading for a rockin' venue that’s begging to be defiled.

Joining the Tour is Sydney’s all-star, all-female DJ outfit HOOPS. Notorious for all the right reasons, Hoops are a staple for anyone wanting a bangin’ set. The girls are heavyweights, having played alongside legends such as Dizzee Rascal, Diplo and New Young Pony Club, as well as the stages of Laneway, Falls Festival, Good Vibrations, We Love Sounds and Playground Weekender.

When you’ve got a drag race like Lost On Tour and you’ve got a mystery headline act and the girls from Hoops alongside 9 natural, fuel burning, top-line, supercharged DJs – Chux (Disco Punx), Simo (Sticky Floor), Jason Barry, Johnny Pow!!, Piracy, Jimmy 2 Sox and Dan Single - all on the same train, and they’re ALL ploughing the rails, it’s gotta be the real deal… the real rocking-out, partying-hard, getting laid deal. They’ll be spinning beats that’ll get you cranked high enough to hang yourself!

This is an open casting call for bands to embark on the baddddddest tour of the century so dust off the leathers, tune up the Fender and crank that Marshall to 11 ‘coz baby it's ON!

Guns:

Take a walk on the wild side and come dressed to jam alongside supreme air-guitar masters and axe legends: Slash, Hendrix, Page, Ramones and Pistols! We’re living in a gangsta paradise with Biggy, 2Pac and Snoop on board for a monster reverb-remix mash up. Run DMC, Beastie Boys and grunge kingpins Nirvana get down alongside glam rockers Motley Crue, Def Leppard and Van Halen. Slick leather pants, nasty tats, big hair, piercings and loads of guyliner. We’re embracing those who started it all, the bygone days of trashed hotel rooms and regular court appearances: Maiden, Motorhead, Lennon, Bowie, Morrison, the Stones, Floyd.…

&

Roses:

Ladies first – Ladyhawke, Lady Tron and Lady GaGa – because everyone knows girls rock harder! Girl power all the way with Pink, Peaches, GoldFrapp, Florence and Madonna. Eurovision divas, Motown soul sisters and Rockabilly twists! Think big bands, bigger hair, tight pants, tighter skirts, studded belts, damn it studded everything! Take your inspiration from trashbags: Britney, Whitney, Winehouse, Courtney… the bands: Pussycat, Sugababes, Salt ‘n Pepper… and the glam: Tina, Blondie and Kylie.

Lost On Tour

Date: Saturday 29th May, meet 11.30am for a midday departure from Central.

Destination: mystery venue an hour from Sydney with a new town to terrorise!

Arrive back in Sydney by 11pm in time for Lost on Tour After Party

Line-up: Mystery Headliner, Simo (Sticky Floor), Chux (Disco Punx), Jason Barry, Pow!!, Piracy, Hoops, Jimmy 2 Sox and Dan Single.

Our advice is take Monday off coz this is one trip that’s gonna take while to come back from.

Lost in the Underworld
I'm back from the UK and am ready to get back to what I know best - throwing amazing parties!

Haven’t you always wanted to know what goes on at a Lost Boys party with the lights off?

After ripping it up by day at Shark Island and Trans Siberian, The Lost Boys invite you to take over the night and party when evil awakes. Keep your eyes wide shut and get…

LOST in the UNDERWORLD
a twisted masquerade

Inviting Montagues & Capulets, Marie Antoinettes & Musketeers to a night cavorting with Underworld royalty. Surrender your identity and explore a fantasy world of mystery, evil and indulgence. The Lost boys love to surprise you, so join us when the sun sets at our decadent Underworld lair and let the hunt begin.

We’ve gone to great lengths to find a unique, one-off venue so we’re keeping it a mystery until the day of the party. We can assure you Underworld will be in an Eastern Suburbs location, less than 10mins from the CBD and easy to get home from.

Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old. Never die. Vampires, Underworld Princes’ of the Night and resident LOST DJ’s return from the dead to entertain and delight: Dark Prince Dolso, Count Adam Bozetto, Chainsaw Chux, Marquee de Money Shot, Jason “Friday the 13th” Barry and Simo “The Slasher”. And introducing for the first time at a Lost Boys event… The Piracy DJs!

We’re thrilled to announce Sydney’s own Bag Raiders as the Underworld headline.
Bag Raiders have had a busy year both in and out of the studio. Their current single SHOOTING STAR is hotter than a blow torch and getting flogged on dancefloors across the country. They’ve played Parklife, Field Day, Splendour in the Grass and opened this years Sydney Festival alongside Santagold and Kayne West’s DJ A-Trak - who liked them so much he invited them to tour the states! Bag Raiders upcoming gigs are limited due to a hectic recording schedule so we’re very lucky to have them on the Underworld lineup…welcome to hell boys!

Dress: Underworld Twisted Masquerade

Ladies:
Awake Mistress of the Night - channel your inner vamp. Don a Venetian mask, pour yourself into cocktail dress or get cloaked up with a flash of Agent Provocateur. Embrace your inner desires in a mysterious night of frivolity and fun! Masked and uninhibited you entice all and yet revealing nothing... fallen angels, twilight vampires and masked maidens, this is your night.

Gentlemen:
Arise masked heroes and vanquished villains from the silver screen and battlefield long forgotten: Spartans, Freddy, Leatherface, Jason and The Joker join Underworld Royalty of Vampires and Lycan princes, Satan and his cohort. Those that stalk the Underworld are also invited – Van Helsing, Blade, The Punisher and The Watchman. This is a walk on the dark side, so keep it Underworld, keep it masked and leave the superman outfit under your bed.

Date: Saturday October 17th
Time: 7pm to 3am’ish
Tickets: Pre-sale: $70 ( $3 booking fee) available on Tues 25th August 12pm at http://lostevents.com.au with ticket code (sent by email)
General release $70 ( $3 booking fee) available on Friday 28th August
Final release $80 ( $3 booking fee)

About the mystery location:
There was a time when going out was an adventure, the unknown was something you looked forward to and even embraced. Over time things changed as these feelings of excitement and anticipation were eroded by middle of the road events and predictable festivals. If you miss those times, this party’s for you.

If you’re up for a party that will make your bits tingle and you’ve missed out on the previous sold out Lost Boys’ events, this is your time as we invite you on a journey back an age of fun, word of mouth events where the night wasn’t scripted, wasn’t planned, wasn’t predictable. In order to keep this off the grid we’re keeping the location of the Underworld a mystery until the day of the party when it’ll be available via sms, website or recorded message.

When the sun sets, the hunt begins.

Welcome to Underworld: a twisted masquerade

Lost on the Trans Siberian round-up
Firstly we want to say a massive thank you for coming to our Trans Siberian party. Our aim is to create unique parties that truly rock and get everyone talking, and judging by the buzz around Sydney, Lost on the Trans Siberian hit the target. The Lost Boys realise that without good people you can’t have a good party and we loved the crowd, so a massive thank you for dressing up and bringing the right attitude.

On May 30th 2009, 600 of Sydney’s finest descended on Central Station dressed in the latest in Eastern Block fashion, ready to party on board the Lost Boys Trans Siberian train. Soldiers, Cosmonauts, latex ladies, ringmasters and their dancing bears, an ensemble of ballerinas, mail order brides, pilots, mercenaries, and eurotrashed gangsters came together to party under the Lost Boys banner!

Pimped to within an inch of its existence with the latest in Soviet sound technology, the Trans Siberian was slamming from the minute it left Central. Dogs of War Jase Barry and Moneyshot started the day's musical odyssey with smooth and sultry beats, easing the passengers into what was to become an epic day of craziness!

Arrival at the Blue Mountains brought the party into the next phase: an all-out assault on Bollo’s hideout. Not to be deterred by the frosty conditions, with an almighty yell the 600 strong motley crew charged down the ramp towards the hijacked venue to celebrate all that is decadent and dance. The Blue Mountains didn’t know what had hit them, as within minutes of leaving the train Chux and Bozo began putting our jacked up sound system through its paces, dropping basslines cooler than an arctic winter! The dancefloor responded, filling up immediately with brothers and sisters of the revolution embracing the awesomeness of the vibe.

Our designated heavy hitters Dolso and Jase Barry were next up and they didn’t fail to deliver, roaring sets of party anthems that had the crowd nice and lively! Special guest vocalist Towera (martini club) continued to build the momentum of the day with a unabashed ‘hands in the air’ set of classic tunes… And in Bollo's den, Simo continued to grow his reputation as he showed his ability to completely and utterly control the crowd by whipping the packed floor into a frenzy!

With an explosion of noise, sound, light and energy, Dangerous Dan (Bang Gang) and Jonny Pow!! set the tone for the rest of the party and tore straight into a pulsating set of thumping electro, techno and dance music which took the audience into overdrive. What more could you ask for: Lasers? Yep got them. Crazy crowd? Yep. Whacked venue? Yep! Cameo from Bollo? Definitely!

Train trip home – fuck yeah!

The return trip home was epic and has to go down as the most memorable part of the day, as 6 carriages converted into the kind of jacking party that everyone wants to be at and no one wants to end. From the minute the train left Katoomba nobody dared stop dancing, fearful of missing out on any part of the action, with Chux blitzing his 3 carriages while the Axis of Evil – Dan Single, Jonny Pow!!, Jimmy 2 Sox, Dolso and Simo went back to back in a battle of dynastic succession to win over their half of the train! Badass gymnasts stowed trashy ballerinas in luggage racks, babushka dolls bounced alongside Eurotrash latex glamours and a battalion of mercenaries went AWOL, as the tempo & intensity of the trip went higher, faster and harder with each track.

It’s rare an event is so highly anticipated, and yet still takes guests way beyond their expectations. Gone are the days of over commercialised, vibeless music festivals, with bad attitudes and feeble originality. Welcome to the Lost era.

We hope hope to see you at the next party.

4 days to go
6 weeks ago The Lost Boys put out the call and 600 brave souls volunteered for a journey into the unknown onboard our chartered train – Lost on The Trans Siberian. Since then our sound system has spent everyday at City Gym and now has enough juice pumping to be classified by the UN as a Weapon of Mass Destruction. Bollo’s Den is gonna be so jacked it’ll make Chernobyl look like McHappy Day!

Joining our existing line up is the notorious Jonny Pow!! who’s recently completed a national tour of duty supporting Sneaky and is ready to smash out one of the best sets of his life. Jonny Pow!! is one of the most consistent crowd pleasing DJ’s in the country and will be spinning some of the slammingest tunes this side of St Petersburg.

Special guest for the day include Martini Club lead vocalist Towera. Fresh from a stint at Playboy Mansion and featured on 2009 Ministry of Sound Annual, we’re lucky to have Towera’s tasty tonsils along for the ride.

If you have a ticket, get down to Platform 1 Central Station between 11am and 11.45am for registration - don't be late or you'll miss the train!

Final release sells out fast
Our final release of tickets sold out in 6 minutes - unreal! Lots of people logged in, desperately hoping to get Lost, sorry to all those that missed out.

I'm now on Twitter, you can find me as bollo_boosh. It makes it easier to keep you across my antics, I can't blog much as they've got me back in rehab but it's not as bad as it sounds. Kate Moss is in here, and we have our ways of breaking the rules. Meanwhile the Lost Boys have been busy decorating my hide-out, wheeling in the biggest sound systems they can find, and signing up more great acts.

They've just lined up Towora Smith (Martini Club.)

---------

Towara’s recent credits include performing at the infamous Playboy Mansion in LA as well as featuring on the Ministry of Sound 2009 Clubbers Guide on the Stafford Brothers/Oliver Lang track "I'm Feeling."
Towora’s style and voice has a foundation of soul, with a layer of funk and twist of the divine. We guarantee she’ll leave you wanting more.

Lost on the Trans Siberian
The Lost Boys have done it again: how cool is this gonna be...

The straight up cold chillin' Lost Boys are recruiting a limited number of passengers for a truly one-off experience. They've commandeered a train, packed it full of explosive beats, and in the spirit of the Trans-Siberian are going to party their way to the Blue Mountains.

The Trans-Siberian departs from Central Station at midday on Saturday 30th May and those lucky enough to secure tickets will experience a musical revolution from the moment they board the train. Comrades unite as the The Lost Boys' train takes you and 500 other defectors on a trip to Bollo’s* hideout, a hijacked venue in the Blue Mountains where we celebrate all that is decadent and dance.

Come dressed to party like it’s the end of the Cold War in latest high fashion from Mother Russia and be treated to basslines cooler than an arctic winter as LOST DJ’s push the latest in superior soviet sound system to its limits.

Riding the rails and serving freshly chopped tunes are original Lost DJs and capitalist dogs Dolso (Sneaky Sound System producer), Jason Barry, Adam Bozetto, Chux (Disco Punks), Moneyshot and Simo (Sticky Floor).

Headlining Lost on the Trans-Siberian is Dangerous Dan (Bang Gang).

New party
I'm very excited. The Lost Boys are going to announce their new party this week. All I know so far is that it's on May 30th and it's something entirely different - I can't wait.

I'm starting to understand Sydney and its wild social life, but nothing could have prepared me for the Mardi Gras parade a few weeks ago. I met a few of the party goers around Potts Point last week and they were quite outrageous, coming up with an entirely different interpretation of "Do the Bollo"

Ripping it up
Summer's nearly over but I'm still smashing it up - party after party. I did manage some beach time this weekend, up to Tamarama where the beautiful people hang out. I was actually on duty, mainly watching over people from the tower, but then I got involved in some 2 on 2 volleyball and took the surf board out. Slightly disappointed by the talent though, not a single other gorilla on the beach. I think they were all too hung over from mardi gras.

My friends have said they're going to organise another party. They won't tell me anything about it yet, other than it's on Saturday May 30th. Apparently it's going to be amazing, some completely unique concept. I'm hoping they'll ask me to DJ...

LOST in Circular Quay
My friends took me to see some of the sights of Sydney today. We headed down to the Opera house where I made some new friends - everyone wanted their photo taken with me although I couldn't get the Granny in the wheelchair to do "the arms." I met a brother from another Mother who was over from the states - he was both wicked and bad. Apparently that's a good thing. And a lovely girl came to give me a kiss - well, she wasn't that lovely but I do love my kisses.

LOST on Shark Island
I made some new friends today. They call themselves the Lost Boys and they came to pick me up from my warehouse. I quite like my warehouse, sitting in amongst the dinosours, zebras and my other friends, although things can get a little boring. My new friends showed me just how much fun the outside world could be.

They took me to Shark Island, a beautiful Harbour island just off Rose Bay. I had to wake up far too early, but as I saw the decorations going up and sound system being wheeled into place, I started to get excited. I really hoped for some dirty house, most of my friends prefer Jungle but what would they know?

The guests started to arrive and I got smothered with attention - kisses from some really hot girls, photos with my new best friends Tim and Mike, and even some video of me dancing. I'll put this up on You Tube soon. The music was amazing, Warren played drums right by me, Tricky Nick grooved with the sax, and the DJs were phenomenal: beats the silence of the warehouse. I was so disappointed when I had to leave, but then my friends took me to the after party where I was put on the front door - stopping the unsavoury from entering the Sticky Floor party house.

What a day, I've set up a Facebook profile (please add and tag me) and my friends have promised to take me round Sydney soon. Going to try and get into the Golden Sheaf this weekend, I hear that's where it's at....

Lost on Shark Island
Looking Out South Towards the mainland, Mike tried to remember how he got here. Obviously he remembers the ferry, filled with 500 of Sydney's finest, dressed like they knew they would soon be Cast Away on this paradise island. He'll probably never forget the intense excitement that buzzed around the boat, built on the anticipation of the hedonism that lay ahead.

But the ferry didn't hold the answer, Mike needed to go back further. Back to a Thailand beach two years previous, to a night that would never be forgotten, and yet could never be fully remembered. A night fuelled by mushroom shakes, xanax, and powerful whisky; with red bull disguised as cough medicine and amphetamines disguised as diet pills; a night involving a nasty exchange with a knife wielding local, bringing sobriety momentarily back to the surface.

Drifting mindlessly along The Beach, Mike accidentally shoulder barges Tim. Is this another fight in the making? The quick mutual apology suggests not, and an easy conversation follows. Back in Sydney, a friendship develops through a mutual love of dirty music, dress up parties and awesome summer festivals. The LOST seed is growing. Meanwhile Tim's ghettotastic cousin Mikey has just thrown a wild party in an isolated field in the mountains, for a few hundred of his closest friends. It's only a matter a time before the three come together and start planning something.

The idea is simple: hold a festival on a Sydney Harbour island with world famous views, a sandy beach and a thumping sound system. A festival with enough room to roam free. To dance. To play. To swim. A festival without fences. Without drink queues. Without police and their dogs. Without attitude.

Add to this recipe a collection of Sydney's finest party minds and like a phoenix rising from the ashes of over commercialised, vibeless summer festivals comes LOST on Shark Island. To the uninitiated, LOST is a collection of local and international party-loving people renowned for their ability to rock a party. With a penchant for good times, fancy dress, beautiful people, deep and funky hip shakin' party grooves, the LOST collective are coming together on Mike's 30th birthday to create party mayhem on Shark Island, Saturday, January 17 2009.

Combining the talents of DJs Jamie Doom and Gus Da Hoodrat (Bang Gang Djs), DJ Jason Barrie, DJ Bozo, DJ Chux (Disco Punx), and still more, LOST delivers eccentric purveyors of a sound that is equally fresh, unique, addictive and highly entertaining.

It's all clear now, where it started, why he did it, how it came together. Back to the present, Mike assesses what's in front of him, and likes what he sees:

An island filled with lucky Survivors, ready to party.
